ROCHESTER, NY —

Monroe County Executive Adam Bello and the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport today announced that the Italian Air Force Frecce Tricolori will headline the 2024 A.P. Property Services Rochester International Airshow on Saturday, August 3 and Sunday, August 4, 2024. Joining Frecce Tricolori in the program will be the United States Air Force F-16 Viper Tactical Demonstration, other exciting aerial performers, and a variety of static displays.

“Monroe County and the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport are honored to have been chosen by the Italian Air Force for this special two-day performance by Frecce Tricolori during their North American tour,” said County Executive Bello. “This is a unique opportunity for our community, and will provide us with a front row seat for Frecce Tricolori, the F-16 Viper demo team, and so many other aerobatic performances.”

The ROC Airshow is one of only six American show sites for Frecce Tricolori, which is performing in the United States for the first time since 1992. Frecce Tricolori was founded on March 1, 1961 and currently operates the Aermacchi MB-339-A/PAN, a two-seat figher-trained aircraft. Made up of 10 aircraft – nine in formation and one soloist – Frecce Tricolori are the world’s largest acrobatic team. One of the highlights of their performance is their signature red, white, and green smoke.

The 2024 Rochester International Airshow is once again presented by title sponsor A.P. Property Services. A.P. Property Services was founded in 1990 by a young man with a dream.
